Effective 19 October 2026
Terms of Use
TryPy is operated from Cyprus. A parent or guardian should review these terms with a child and supervise their use wherever required by law.
1. Operator and acceptance
TryPy is currently operated by Ivan Hlazkov, an individual operator; operator country: Cyprus. Support contact: info@trypy.app (the operator reports that inbound mail is configured through Zoho). These terms apply when you use TryPy. If you are under the age required to accept a contract in your location, your parent or legal guardian must review and accept these terms and supervise your use where required.
2. The service
TryPy provides Python learning lessons and practice tools. Children can use lessons locally without an account. Online accounts and social features are intended for adults using TryPy for their own learning. An in-app grown-up check and adult-learner statement are basic barriers only and do not verify age, identity, or parental authority. Features may change as the service develops.
3. Accounts and safety
Only adults should create or use online accounts, and an account must not be used to upload a child’s local learning profile or progress. Keep account credentials secure and provide accurate information. Do not impersonate others, harass users, share private information, or use TryPy unlawfully. Usernames, profiles, friend links, league entries, and duel results may be visible to other signed-in users when online social features are used. The operator may restrict access to protect users or the service.
4. Acceptable use
- Use the service for lawful learning and personal purposes.
- Do not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, exploit vulnerabilities, or upload harmful code or content.
- Do not use another person’s account or share personal information about another person without permission.
5. Ownership and license
TryPy software, original lessons, visual design, and branding are owned by the operator or their respective licensors, subject to third-party rights and licenses. TryPy grants you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the app for learning. You retain rights in any original content you create. Do not copy or redistribute TryPy materials except as allowed by law or with written permission. Third-party software and services remain subject to their own terms.
6. No purchases or subscriptions currently
The current app has earned in-app points and virtual items; it does not currently offer paid subscriptions or real-money purchases. If paid features are added, separate pricing, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms will be shown before purchase and will follow the applicable app-store rules and consumer laws.
7. Educational information and availability
TryPy is an educational tool, not a school, certification authority, or guarantee of learning outcomes. We work to keep lessons available and accurate but do not promise uninterrupted service or error-free content.
8. Privacy and children
Our Privacy Policy explains information practices. Children should use TryPy offline without an account. Online accounts and social features are intended for adults using TryPy for their own learning.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using TryPy at any time. Signed-in adults can request cloud account deletion from the app settings. The operator may suspend or terminate access for a serious breach, security risk, or legal requirement and will provide notice where appropriate.
10. Governing law and mandatory rights
These terms are governed by the laws of Cyprus. This does not remove any mandatory consumer protections or rights that apply to you under the laws of your country of residence. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited. Questions or disputes may be sent to info@trypy.app.
11. Changes and contact
We will post material changes here with a new date. Questions: info@trypy.app.
